McCarthy Inspection Services, Inc. (MIS) was founded in 2005, a small and relatively young company but with the experience/expertise of 40 years in the construction field. Since 1973 I began to take interest in building and worked as a carpenter.  In 1974 I began attending vocational and technical school to study blue prints, framing techniques, and building wood framed structures.  My passion for building eventually led me toCalifornia in 1978 where I have enjoyed building year round in warmer temperatures.  Since 1978 I have gained experience in all phases of residential, commercial, and industrial construction.  Experiences range from performing the trade of a carpenter, leading as a  crew lead/foreman, project superintendent, and currently inspecting the work for DSA compliance.  Since 2005 McCarthy Inspection Services, Inc. has performed DSA inspections for over 150 million in construction costs. Our company stands out with this volume of inspection with only 1 or 2 assistants. Unlike other companies that simply dispatch inspectors, I visit each project setting the standards required for DSA Certification.  You can be assured and confident of the expertise we bring to the construction team.  MIS is insured as a professional consultant and carries both professional and general liability insurance.
